Read More > ExpediaQuickConnect: IQWARE recently added the well-known "ExpediaQuickConnect" to its already rich GDS interface family. This new addition provides properties a state of the art streamlined connection to Expedia automating the process of retrieving reservations and updating rates and availability to Expedia. Work orders: In its perpetual research for refinement IQWARE recently enhanced its Work Order module. Originally developed for the the condominium environment, IQWARE modified Work Orders to become a revenue generating tool for Hotels and Resorts. This enhancement allows properties to efficiently track damages and repairs of individual units as well as invoice the responsible party while allowing the accounting department to keep track of dollars spent on repairs to offices public areas and more. Timeshare: IQWARE partnered with key players of the Timeshare industry to develop and release its feature-rich Timeshare module. Because IQWARE understands the special needs of this industry, Timeshare was built with flexibility in mind, allowing Timeshare operations to customize the module to their specific needs. Some of the features included in this powerful module are: "Float-Float / Fix-Fix" contracts, "Odd/Even year" contracts, "Rental Payback" program, Split week and split unit bookings, Exchange programs, Automated contract generation, "Lockbox" payments, "Web booking for Owners", Mortgage and dues tracking and invoicing. Vacation Club: IQWARE is adding to its ownership management collection the Vacation Club module. Through market analysis and discussions with industry players IQWARE realized that Vacation Clubs are becoming a preferred way of selling vacation time to the consumer who isn't interested in the investment or strict Timeshare parameters. Buying points and allowing clients to redeem them for a dream vacation is the Vacation club reality. Vacation Club is designed to bridge a normal hotel and Timeshare complex together and allow unsold weeks to become part of the Vacation Club way of selling inventory. The proven operational and accounting concepts developed for the IQWARE Timeshare module have been integrated to this new module to give it the same flexibility and power. Part of the flexibility of this module also resides in the ability for Vacation Club clients to borrow points from next year (to complement an "expensive" booking), put their reservation back in rental to get a payback or participate in an exchange program. The vacation concept finds its full advantage in a multi-property environment, because points can be redeemed anywhere within the "chain" and vacation owners can book via the IQWARE CRS to any chain destination since the point bank, of each owner, is maintained within the IQWARE Head office. |
